Their careers in the U.S. military are as legendary as their southern-style barbecue, and they've served on the frontlines of every major conflict since the jungles of Vietnam.

From top-secret operations in Vietnam to leading covert missions in the Gulf War and every major conflict in the Middle East, these two didn't just fight wars—they waged them. With a combination of stealth, precision, and unrivaled grit, they became known for getting in and getting out—with the only trace being the faint smell of delicious southern-style home cookin'.

After over 3 decades of service, both were forced into early retirement when the creation of the U.S. Space Force called for a new kind of combat. But instead of fading into the background, these two seasoned warriors found a new battleground—the hungry stomachs of the American people. Armed with their love for southern-style BBQ and their ruthless military precision, they continue to wage war against hunger. Their mission? To serve up the finest meats this side of the Milky Way and ensure that every bite is a victory for the taste buds.

Now, as owners of Cosmic BBQ, they continue to bring the heat—not from the battlefield, but from the smoker. Whether it's a brisket that could pass a background check or ribs that smack you back into action, these veterans are firing on all cylinders in the kitchen.
